Adventures of the Supersized 6

Yes I loved the Jetson's when I was little. I wish I could just lay on the couch, eat a cupcake and watch cartoons again. No time for that. I barely even have time to sleep anymore. But oddly enough, your body gets used to running on an average of 5 hours of sleep a night.

Soccer is going well. The girls get better and have more endurance every week. They are learning the skill and grace of soccer, having a fun time so I think that we are having a successful year! Jake's team is doing well considering that some of the teams they have been playing are a year older than them. Noah is, well he is playing more this year than he did last year. We had team pictures this week and they all looked so cute. I can't wait to see them when they are done!

I started school this last week. I think it will go ok. My Women and work class seems like it will be better than I anticipated it to be. My math class seems like I will actually learn something. If at nothing else that I am rusty at math! My biology class sounds like it will be demanding. Luckily I know about 3 other people in that class. A couple are parents here is Bethel. One is a good neighbor, another has a son is Jake's class. And yet another gal was in my history class over the summer. The Bio Lab is very demanding. I hope it just seems more so at the beginning since I have to deal with a time consumming notebook! But you gotta do what you gotta do to make the grade.

The van goes in on Monday to be beautified again. I will be glad when this whole episode is behind us. We had to take Aaron's car in yesterday. The brake light was on and well, there were no brakes. You press the pedal and nothing... I had that feeling in the pit of my stomach that it was going to be something very costly. But we lucked out, it was a rusted and broken brake line. Not nearly the cost I was afraid it was going to be. There still needs to be some work done on the brakes but it is not a danger so she will go back in next month.

In other news, I turned 30 this week. Yes, I am now that mom in her 30's. Ick...
I had a good day dispite being too busy to really grasp that I was 30!! 30!!
My friend was not making it better by telling me that her 30th wasn't bad at all, but being 31 is going to bother her, once your 31 you are officially "in" your 30's. Oy, it will probably take me till my next birthday to actually absorb that I am 30 then I will be "in" my 30's. Yuck.
